Ladies and Gentlemen, we are happy to announce the first Wedding Rally, an International Road Rally. This is not a race, but an active outdoor game, a competition in road navigation and precision driving. To win, you will have to visit several checkpoints on defined time and complete some simple tasks there that prove your visit.
This General Instructions for the participants of the rally are published on the Web page http://fuckfueleconomy.org/weddingrally. Only the English language version of the instructions is official, though, for your convinience, we may publish several translations of this instructions. Should the translated version contain errors, or contradict the English version, only the English version is considered as right.
Teams of two people are welcome for participation in the Rally. All competitors should be at least of age 18. You are allowed to use all means of transport during the rally, but we recommend using a car or a motorcycle in order to complete the course of the rally in a timely manner. You will also need a digital camera (a camera in your smartphone is suitable).
The applications for the rally (see below) are received from April 1st, 2016 to September 1st, 2016. The final results will be available not later than 10:30 Central European Time, December 31st, 2016.
During the rally, you will have to visit four checkpoints in the defined order and time intervals:

The total distance of the rally depends on the particular route you choose, but in any case will be not less than 850 kilometers.
The time to visit the first checkpoint is selected by the participant, then, the times for arrival to the next checkpoint can be calculated. I.e., if you start at Kissing at 12:00, the time you are due to arrive at Petting will be 14:00, at Fucking - 14:25, and at Wedding - 20:00. If you are late at one of the checkpoints, you may catch up at the next leg.
Each participant will get a sealed time-of-day clock with a unique number and a logo of a rally. The clock shows hours and minutes (not necessary corresponding with the official time of day; anyway, the clock will run normally, with a constant shift to the official time). To prove and time your visit to the checkpoint, you must take a photo (a selfie) containing the following objects:
Due to the sensitive nature of this task, all the checkpoints are unmanned, only the participants choose the time to start, and after the finish all the photos should be submitted to the Rallymaster by e-mail. Each team is allowed to send only one set of photos, thus limiting the number of possible runs to one. Though, you can have any number of reconnaissance runs to find the best places to make photos and make yourself familiar with the route.
The photos must be sent to the Rallymaster before 10:00 Central European Time, December 31st, 2016. The Rallymaster gets all the rights to store and publish for all the photos received during the event.
Each team will get penalty points for unperfect fullfillment of the previously described tasks according to this table:

The list of the teams and their scores will be maintained on the official website of the rally. At 10:00 Central European Time, December 31st, 2016 the team with the lowest sum of penalty points will be declared a winner. The same principle (lower points - better result) holds for all other classes in the rally:

An application should be accompanied with an entry fee of 10 Euro to compensate the cost of the clock and postal expenses. The entry fee is accepted by PayPal, the details will be described in a reply e-mail.

I understand that participating in the event can be dangerous and accidents causing death, injury, disability and property damage can happen. I understand that these risks may give rise to my suffering personal injury or other loss and I acknowledge and accept these risks. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry I agree that neither any one of the event officials shall have any liability for loss or damage which may be sustained or incurred by me as a result of participation in the event including but not limited to damage to property, economic loss, consequential loss or financial loss howsoever caused.
